Hey. I’m Christina!
I’ve been drawing as long as I can remember, manifesting monsters and fairies onto the page when I should’ve been doing school work. This led to an early introduction to the tattoo world, when an inked up janitor at my high school noticed my sketches and got me a job at a tattoo shop.
I worked on my 4 year Fine Arts degree at Emily Carr while doing a 4 year apprenticeship to become a tattoo artist.
Today, I work with clients to create large pieces with an overarching narrative in my signature style of bold colour and line work at my shop - the Black Rabbit Tattoo Studio in Port Moody.
My hope is that your finished tattoo - the art that adorns your ‘suit’ for life - inspires love and care for your body.
-
Each tattoo is a co-creative process. Clients come to me with a vision to be explored and expanded upon together. After measurement of the area to be tattooed, the client’s unique body is taken into consideration as I design their piece - each design element placed intentionally so the tattoo moves with the body.
-
I liken my method of tattooing to couture in fashion - as a finished tattoo is like a garment custom made for the individual. And just like in fashion, there is a breathtaking confidence that comes with ‘wearing’ something created just for you.
I hope that each client with a finished tattoo will wear their customized ‘suit’ proudly and enjoy an enhanced feeling of love and care for their beautiful bodies that will last a lifetime.

When I’m not tattooing, I love to spend time at home with my partner Jon and our sweet beasts - ___.
At home, you’ll often find me at my desk doing art studies and working on client sketches.
Jon and I love to watch films together, especially ___. We love to go traveling together and look forward to getting back on the road again, especially to tattoo conventions all over North America!
